Eddie Muller is  founder of The Film Noir Foundation as well as the driving force of the Noir City website.  In Dark City Muller delves into the elements of film noir without submerging the reader in intellectual  theory and meanings.  Muller is an authoritarian source of the genre and has done narratives on several film noir DVD releases.  

The easy flow of the narrative of Dark City makes it a must read for those newly interested in the genre.  That’s not to say there isn’t enough for any hardcore noir fan to enjoy.
